Hmm… I’ll take touching. That was not the exact sentiment while writing it, but I ended up feeling genuinely sad at certain points. I agree that parts of the dialog feel weird, but that’s mostly because I was guessing how the characters would respond to the situation without knowing them well enough to be truly realistic.

Its touching. A few awkward exchanges of dialogue, but good. glad to see something longer and something that felt finished. Keep things going

I got multiple impressions while reading this. My first was closely related to the opening to Star Trek TNG. I think my second was somehow connected to Douglas Adams… I lost track of the other ones. I have to say that you only writing about a page everyday on differing genres and ideas is starting to annoy me. Its hard to get a clear impression of the writing or the author, let alone the story with so little to really go on.

Yeah. This was odd. I’d be interested in writing something that dealt with emotions being physically manifested, but I’m not sure where I’d go with it.

I’m not sure as of this precise moment where to go with it. I’d like to do something with flight, but I feel the dragon/rider mythos is kind of over and done with.

I think because I struggled with dialog a lot in my earlier writing attempts. And I wasn’t thinking specifically along the lines of an RPG, but writing this kind of fantasy work was pretty fun for me. I guess I’ve read enough to grok the genre.
